Set in unspoilt countryside near the historic town of Velez-Malaga, Escuela La Crujia is located in the heart of a sub-tropical river valley, just 10 minutes from the Mediterranean sea.
We are only 30 minutes’ drive East of Malaga city and airport and just over 1 hour from Granada city.

From Malaga, take the A7 motorway East, in the direction of Motril and turn off at Km 272, the Vélez-Málaga exit. At the end of the slip road, at the big roundabout, turn left onto the A356 in the direction of La Viñuela. Keep going straight on, passing 2 roundabouts, and passing the town of Vélez to your right (DON’T go into Vélez!) After about 7 minutes you will see the Bar El Cruce to the left of the main road. Turn left here and follow the road (signposted Benamargosa, amongst other places). Once you have gone past the big new roundabout, about 200m past it is a turning on the right signposted Escuela La Crujía. Turn right onto a tarmac country lane. 300m along, turn left at the next sign and we are on the left.
